Clindacin (clindamycin topical) Topical Solution is an antibiotic used to treat severe acne.
Clindamycin is used to treat serious infections caused by bacteria.
Indications:
Treats acne vulgaris
Side Effects:
• Burning.
• Itching.
• Dryness.
• Redness
• Oily skin.
• Skin peeling, or other irritation of treated skin.
Cautions:
• Should be prescribed with caution in atopic individuals.
• You should not use clindamycin topical if you have ulcerative colitis or enteritis (inflammation of your intestines), or if you have ever had severe diarrhea caused by antibiotic medicine.
Interactions:
• Erythromycin (taken by mouth or applied to the skin).
How To Use:
Apply a thin film of Clindacin Topical Solution twice daily to the affected area.
